With regards to my favourite genres of music, they are quite varied. I like to listen to Pop music, Jazz, and occasionally Rap and Hiphop (90s rap and hiphop specifically), as well as 90s R&B and some Alternative Indie Rock. Examples of some of my favourite artists that I believe fall into these categories include Beyonce, Arctic Monkeys and Kendrick Lamar. Despite the fact that I am a member of the Gen Z demographic, I also enjoy listening to artists from generations before me, for example Amy Winehouse, Tupac, Queen and Bob Marley.

The only music related event I have ever attended in my life was a Robbie Williams concert when I was 10 years old. He performed in Tbilisi (where I live), and I have great memory of that day. I vividly remember dancing and singing to his songs, alongside my mother and older sister. As I was arriving to the stadium, as well as leaving after the concert finished, the streets were packed with people going to the concert, and me realizing that him coming to Georgia was a big deal, let alone coming to Tbilisi, as many music artists rarely come to Georgia, let alone Tbilisi. If any artist comes to Georgia, they usually go the Batumi (a city next to the Black Sea).
Music has definitely inspired my life. I like to listen to songs that have aspirational and rich symbolic meanings to them. Examples of songs that fit into this category are “Beautiful” by Christina Aguilera and “Who Says” by Selena Gomez. I listen to music on a daily basis, as it helps me relax. I also occasionally like to listen to music when for example I am doing my homework or studying in general, as it generally helps me concentrate more and stay focused. I also try to look out for new artists and songs that I may like. For example, I recently discovered Tinashe's music, and i have enjoyed that.
With regards to how I feel when I listen to music, it depends on what music or artist I am listening to. For example, if I am feeling sad, I like to listen to music that has a positive message by an artist that I actively follow. If I am listening to a song by an artist who I don't follow or like, I do have different opinions.
My access to music is based on my demographic. Like I have mentioned before, I am a member of Gen Z. Generally, I access music through Youtube and Spotify, as well as the radio in the car. I like using these platforms, as it helps me discover new artists or songs that I have not heard of before. I believe that my generation uses these programmes, along with Apple Music or Tidal for instance. Gen Z does not use cassette tapes or portable Walkmans to find and listen to music.
