As you can see in the picture above, this is my flat plan of what my magazine cover would look like. It features the title of my magazine, "Disculture". I decided to name my magazine "Disculture" because the 'culture' I am talking about is homeless people, and how they are represented in the media, specifically the news. I have included homeless people, as my main topic will be about them. I have also put in newspaper pictures as my main article will talk about the coverage of homeless people in the media, specifically the news, as homeless people are represented in a negative light, and I wanted to talk about a topic that in my opinion, is talked about enough and we need to speak up more about the discrimination and stigmas that surround the homeless.

As in regards to inspiration, I want to read some other news magazines and maybe some newspapers. Examples of news magazines and newspapers include The Guardian, Time, and the New York Times. These newspapers and magazines include a variety of different news subjects, which I think its great as a lot of topics that haven't been discussed are now being shown in mainstream news. In my opinion, sharing topics that haven't been discussed at all or have been discussed little are now having their moment to shine, as they often involve serious topics that are going on in the world, such as protests, racism , discrimination etc. These topics can affect people who are close to us, loved one and relative, which is why I think that speaking up about them is really important
