My Magazine Genre

The genre of my magazine is news. The reason why I chose this genre of magazine is because I am very much interested in how the news represents different aspects of society and how they shape the way we see different cultures. We read the news in newspapers, such as ''The Guardian'' and ''The New York Times''. There are also newsites, such as the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) and CNN. In the 21st century (the modern era), due to the rise of technological convergence and technology, we now have the ability to now access different newpapers, newsites and magazines on the internet, and on their websites. In order to access some these websites, consumers must pay a subscription fee which may range from $4.90 to $9.99. Two examples of news magazines are Time and The Sun.

Time magazine was first published on March 3rd of 1923 and is based in New York City. The magazine used to be published weekly, but since 2020, they have been publishing issues monthly. It is owned by the Meredith Corporation. The reason why this magazine is one the the main inspirations for my magazine is because it reports different media types such as politics, world news, technology, health, business, as well as entertainment. I think they are very versatile in terms of the media areas they cover.

Another example of a news magazine is The Guardian. This is a British newspaper that was founded in 1821. It is a newspaper that publishes issues daily. The reason why this particular newspaper is one of my inspirations for creating a news magazine is because they cover everything related to current news topics that I think are very important.
