Name of my Magazine

The name of my magazine is "Disculture". The reason why I decided to name my magazine this name is because since I am talking about the culture around us (hence culture). It is also because the purpose of my magazine is dismantling wrongful misconceptions and stereotypes about a particular group (like homeless people, the main focus of my main article), hence "dis". I put the words "dis" and culture to together, and created "Disculture". I thought this name sounded catchy and may seem pleasing for the viewers. I came up with this name around the time of my photoshoot, which was in February.

An alternative name for this magazine was "Culture Monthly". Since the magazine publishes issues monthly (like in the title), the magazine mainly talks about different cultures or people who have been marginalised and it is my mission to debunk all of the wrong and disrespectful views about them (like I have mentioned before). I ultimately decided that this name would not work because I thought the name sounded boring and something that in my opinion, would not attract future consumers and readers. I chose this name around November and December, before my photoshoot.
