Casting and Characters

For my music video, instead of using actual human beings, I will instead be drawing the characters for my music video. I will only be drawing 2 characters (the singer and the girlfriend, as they are the only 2 people mentioned in the song). These 2 characters are very vital to my video as they are the protagonists, with one of them being the reason why the song's narrative is what it is.

The woman I drew in the picture above is supposed to be a representation of the girlfriend that Yankovic talks about in the song, the one who tries to kill him. She is very important to my video as she is the driving force behind the song's narrative, hence why Yankovic wrote the song about her. She is also vital is because she will be featured on my digipak and in my social media site (the promotional materials for my coursework)

The character depicted above is the guitarist who is the one singing the song. He is supposed to be my interpretation of "Weird" Al Yankovic (the actual singer). The reason why he is playing the guitar is because it is appropriate for the song genre, since the song is an acoustic guitar ballad, hence why I drew him with a guitar. Another reason why he is important for my coursework is because is the main selling point for all of my promotional materials for my coursework (the digipak and social media site). He is the main selling point because he is the main protagonist of my video, as well as the singer.
